Fotini Ntalouka, MSc

Medical Genetics, Genetic Consultant, Scientific Advisory Board, Dnation

Fotini received a Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from University of Thrace in Greece. After her graduation in 2006, she continued her studies at the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom), from which she graduated with the MSc degree in Medical Genetics, awarded with Distinction. She has worked in the past at the Stem-Cell Bank of the Greek National Institute of Research. She has extensive experience in Predictive Genomics DNA testing for consumers. Fotini has been working for more than 10 years with Dr. Marios Kambouris in several commercial projects, designing panels of DNA variants associated with common poly-genic multi-factorial traits and conditions as well as the development of DNA assessment reports, for identification of potentially “at-risk” individuals in the population for timely implementation of corrective action to delay or avoid onset of DNA variants effects. During these years she has worked extensively with colleague scientists and consultants in designing and implementation of the tools and computational methods required for creation of the personalised DNA reports as well as the personalised services (personalised dietary and training plans and products: cosmetics and nutritional supplements).
